If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Dominion House in Guthrie, it is worth the time!

They have created a beautiful boutique hotel, restaurant and wedding venue perfect for any celebration.  I was honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the revival of this historic building.  The biggest challenge with this project was measuring for draperies in a space that had been gutted down to the studs.  Every inch has to be taken into consideration to make sure the final product is what is envisioned,  but when the walls and window trim aren’t  in place it makes it a bit tricky.  We wanted the drapes and hardware to be ready to go as soon as the rooms were ready to show.  My client wanted to have a consistent look throughout the hotel but wanted each room to feel unique.  We were able to achieve this by using a variety of colors of the same velvets and sheers and a blend of hardware.  I am very proud of the finished product and thoroughly enjoyed working in conjunction with my client to make the space inviting and beautiful for their guests.  Again, a huge thank you to Fabrics Unlimited, Endisco Supply and Ben Coffman Installations.
